'Elvis to The Max' is Back! - and touring Australia. Read EIN's exclusive Interview with Max Pellicano here.
Max kicked off his 2005 Australian tour at Melbourne’s Taylors Lakes to a packed showroom. The winner of Starstruck as “Elvis” (Anthony Petraccio) was there, as was John St Peters and a few other familiar faces. That special tension & Elvis magic was created as, every time ‘Elvis’ came on stage, he entered by coming down this grand stairway causing the audience to explode with the excitement. They way Max Pellicano captures the magnetism of Elvis is extraordinary. This must be because of his background as a trained actor and the way he has studied every little Elvis nuance. It is not just his fabulous voice but every inflection & move that makes you revel in the presence of The King. Presenting the three main phases of Elvis’ live career Max wore the Milton Berle Show outfit, black-leather suit and the Red Lion jumpsuit. There is nothing like a live dose of Elvis, so don’t miss out if he’s in your town.
EIN’s fascinating interview with Max Pellicano will be posted here soon. On this tour Max also performs a special Fifties Tribute to Elvis at Sydney’s Basement Club in November.
