'Elvis Presley In Concert' Aussie tickets selling fine: With rumours of both the Elvis Sydney concert selling-out and another suggesting poor tickets sales, EIN talked with Dainty Entertainment. EIN: What can you tell us about the recent rumours of either sell-outs or the opposite of poor ticket sales?   DCE: Actually neither are true! Ticket sales have been fine so far, with Melbourne showing the most interest. If anything Sydney sales are a bit behind the other cities. However this is not just shown with the Elvis tickets but is also reflected in all other Tour & concerts sales. Maybe NSW is feeling the monetary pinch more than other states, who can say.

DCE: Well there is still 2 1/2 months to go and we are very aware of how important Elvis Week is this month, so fans will see our publicity increasing. Elvis' guitarist James Burton has also been lined up for radio interviews in the next couple of weeks, so fans should keep their ears open for those. In fact Elvis' whole band have told us how much they are really looking forward to coming back to Australia, so don't let anyone miss out. After all, this could be the last major worldwide Tour that will come all the way over here. As soon as I have more information about the special Elvis Memorabilia display and anything else, I'll let all the fans know. Elvis Presley In Concert ticket giveaways: Next week various Australian radio stations will commence competitions giving away tickets to the five city October tour of "Elvis Presley In Concert". (News, Source: EIN, 22 June 2006)

"Elvis Presley In Concert" Package ticket prices anger fans: There has been a strong "negative" reaction to the "Elvis Presley In Concert" Australian pricing schedule, particularly prices for the packages which include the meet & greet with the tour group.

With Platinum package tickets costing over A$500.00 many fans have expressed disappointment at the high price which will prevent them from meeting members of the tour group. A number of threads have appeared on the various Elvis messageboards and EIN has so far received more than 50 messages of disappointment from fans around Australia and internationally.
