Caveat Emptor!!!
What was Walter Twin thinking? The dark b&w images on offer in this sub-standard photo book are of very low quality (the most attractive image is on the book cover! - see below ). In addition they appear to be photos of photos - given the surrounding image of most photos, it appears that each image may have been taken from photos housed in a small photo flip album! Why not at least take out each photo and capture it against a blank background?
The images are poorly presented being of varying sizes and inconsistently placed on each page (the only consistent thing is that there is one image per page regardless of photo size). None are full page images, the larger photos fill only half the page, meaning there is an enormous amount of incongruous white space on each page (between 50% and more than 80%)! There are no captions for any of the photos.
The title: Elvis Presley Concert At Madison Square Avenue in 1977? What is this about? Market Square Avenue is located in North Carolina. Elvis played the Greensboro Coliseum in North Carolina on 21 April 1977, however its address is 1921 W Gate City Blvd. The final few pages of the book are introduced by the chapter title: Elvis’ final concert at Market Square Arena, June 26 1977 Indianapolis Indiana.
Elvis wore his Mexican Sundial suit at both of these shows and given the very low standard of the book I didn't spend time trying to determine the concert source of the photos. The Amazon listing offers its 'Look Inside' function for the book - click 'Surprise Me' to get an idea of the quality of the images.
Images of this quality in an Elvis photo book will certainly surprise you!
The sum total of Walter Twin's Elvis photo book is unsatisfying and begs the question of why anyone would publish a book that is so bad?
The 21 x 24cm (A4) softcover booklet retails (from Amazon) for US$7.00 ($3.10 Kindle edition) and it is not worth even half of those prices.
Verdict: Elvis Presley Concert At Madison Square Avenue in 1977 is simply one of the worst, if not the worst Elvis photo book, ever released - even its low purchase price offers no respite from the awful images. You have been warned!
