Elvis sighting at Zephyr Gallery in Melbourne, Australia

Thirty years after his death, the King of Rock 'n' Roll lives on in a photographic exhibition at Melbourne’s newest art space, Zephyr Gallery, which opens at Yarra’s Edge in the Docklands on Tuesday, May 1, 2007.

The gallery’s inaugural exhibition, It’s a Long Way to Graceland by award-winning photographer Saville Coble, captures impersonators in full regalia at various events including the annual Elvis Presley Festival in Parkes, New South Wales.

The exhibition is open to the public throughout May, and entry donations, along with sales of the limited-edition prints and a hard-cover book featuring exhibited images, will raise funds for the Mirabel Foundation, established to assist children who have been orphaned or abandoned due to parental illicit drug use and who are now in the care of extended family.
