Elvis World #82

The Christmas issue of Bill Burk's long running magazine, Elvis World, was issued recently.

Once again in full color and with yet another stunning cover (see below) by renowned Elvis sketch artist, Betty Harper, issue #82 contains the usual informative wrap up of news from around the Elvis world, a look at Elvis Week 2006, all the latest essential CD and book releases, and a very interesting article about close Elvis friend, Patti Parry.

Some of the news items include:

  • Elvis' shortest gig ever
  • Graceland to feature in next year's Sports Illustrated Swimsuit edition
  • Exposing Oprah's big claim about the "secret" Elvis room at Graceland
  • Jimmy Velvet Elvis book in 2007
  • Mike Curb's $5m gift includes Elvis' Audubon Drive home

Bill Burk is at the center of the Elvis world in Memphis and with his longstanding contacts and experience as an investigative journalist, "Elvis World" magazine is one of the most informative Elvis periodicals published today.

Relying less on in-depth reviews and criticism, Bill has used his extensive contacts and knowledge of things "Elvis" to fashion a very accessible and enjoyable quarterly magazine.
