The Mammoth label will release soon a DVD titled '' The Sun King ''. A lot of this footage from the May 1977 tour has circulated through the years but always in bad quality with washed out colors. For the first time, these will be available from an original source with full color and original Super 8mm films sound. This DVD will be NTSC (region free). Restored and revitalized: a new look at Presley, the SUN King. Elvis Presley, wearing his " Mexican sundial " jumpsuit, was nothing but a road warrior in his final year, giving more than 50 shows in five months. Despite what many critics claimed, on many nights Elvis still had the magic. The songs seen here prove it, all drawn from his penultimate tour in late May 1977.
