The
Bradford Exchange has been at the forefront of Elvis collectible
plates and related items for many years. In 2004 they have
issued an item that is certain to be talked about...an illuminated
'limited edition' Elvis Presley Rock 'n' Roll Holiday Village!
Restricted
to 295 casting days, the hand-crafted work of art is now available
to order.
There
are four buildings comprising the village:
- Golden
Records Store (which stands approx. 6.5" high)
- The
Legend Theatre
- Blue
Suede Shoes Store
- Hound
Dog Diner
Emanating
from each building in the village is a dazzling Las Vegas
style glow.
Our
scanned image doesn't do full justice to what is a very unusual
and striking market collectible. With rich, vibrant colors,
the snowy wonderland of yuletide and of course Elvis, this
is one release many fans will find hard to resist.
"Slip
on a pair of blue suede shoes, add a cinnamon stick or two
to your hot apple cider, po in a holiday tune, and get ready
to have yourself a rockin' little Christmas...Elvis style."
Each
of the four buildings in the village is being released at
regular intervals (buyers have the option of paying for each
building with one payment or in three instalments). There
is also a "hand-numbered Certificate of Authenticity".

release, which was authorised by EPE, comes with three
figurines ("Santa", a golden statue of the King
and a "pink" convertible), and a six-piece light
set. |
